• Dr. Sanjay Singh Negi is currently working as a Sr. Consultant and Director in HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation Department at BLK Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi • He contains over a decade of experience in handling Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Pancreato Biliary illnesses. • He is the founder faculty at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi which is the only one of its type in the country and started the Department of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation at the institute. • He is a talented Laparoscopic, Hepato-Pancreato Biliary, and Liver Transplant surgeon. • Dr. Negi is the first Indian to have an honorary award in respect of his contribution to the domain of Transplantation Surgery, awarded Honorary Diploma in Transplantation Surgery. • His interests contain Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery containing liver resections for cancer of liver, gallbladder & bile duct, Whipple technique for pancreatic cancer, Surgery for pancreatitis and bile duct injuries and stricture, Advanced Laparoscopic surgery, Gastrointestinal Oncosurgery for cancer and Surgical Gastroenterology. • He started and created a successful Living Donor Liver Transplant Program at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi which is only one of its types in the public sector.
