Dr. Y.K. Mishra

Y.K. Mishra is one of the popular and most skilled cardiac surgeons in India.
He has an experience of more than 32 years; he is extensively known and has effectively performed over 14,000 open heart surgeries and more than 500 robotic surgeries.
Furthermore to his clinical work, Dr. Mishra also has an extreme interest in training, education, and research work and has been invited as a guest lecturer from all around the world.
He has also supervised over scientific sessions in national and international conferences held in the USA, UK, China, Italy, Japan, France, and Far East Countries.
He has lead live cases at his workshops organized in Thailand, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
He has finished his masters in Surgery and MBBS from the esteemed S. S Medical College, Rewa (MP). Following which he did his Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Surgery.

Mishra has a superiority of being on the Board of Directors of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. He is the 4th Asian to be privileged and Second Indian to hold this distinction
He has accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Honoris Causa Doctorate (Doctor of Science) conferred by Governor of Madhya Pradesh and Chancellor of Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya.
He is the Founder Member of the Indian College of Cardiology and also the Fellow Member of Association Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgeons of India.
He is also the founder of the Payasuni Heart valve Foundation for the prevention and treatment of rheumatic heart diseases.
He has his skill in minimally invasive cardiac surgery Robotic surgery, beating heart coronary artery bypass, aortic surgery.
